As Christians, we long to be victorious and have power through God to live peaceful, happy, healthful lives. We want to be aware of His precious holy presenceānot just with us but in usāas He promised for those who believe.
Worry is not only a very bad habit but it is also mental poisoning. There is a wonderful antidote. Godās Word is sharper than a two-edged sword. We can slash every thought of worry and fear from our minds and have perfect peace by trusting the words of the Prince of Peace.
Identity theft! We hear a lot about it today. Satan tries to persuade the redeemed child of God to identify with the thoughts of the carnal mind. But we are crucified with Christ, and the life that we now live we live by the faith of the Son of God. We need to identify with all that He is. He gives us His strength, His wisdom, His power, and His love.
How do we store treasures in Heaven and what are these treasures? Our Lord said that His words are spirit and life, power, and reality. These are the treasures. To store them, they must be felt, trusted, and believed. We must make His promises and righteous thoughts a part of us.
What is the one unforgiveable sin? We are guilty of it if we come against an anointed servant of God and say that the works of the Holy Spirit are the works of Satan. We should not judge by appearances or personality. We need to be careful that we do not commit the sin of blasphemy.
Worry and anxiety are enemies of a good memory. Our mind, which is a storehouse of all of lifeās experiences, must be turned over to the Lord in exchange for His just thoughtsāwhich are spirit and life to our mind.
Are you facing each new day with regret? Are you judging the future by the past? To replace futile thoughts of regret, we must learn Godās infallible thoughts of peace, power, forgiveness, and joy.
The Adversary wants to trick every Christian into believing that we are not worthy of the blessings of the Lord. We need to trust in the finished work of the cross! Each day we should pick up our cross, which is our power through the shed blood of Jesus on Calvary. Christ is our worthiness!
Have you ever wondered, āAm I really growing spiritually?ā The very fact that you are concerned is a spiritually heathy sign. Jesus compared the Word of God in His parables to seed. The Word that is engrafted in your soul when you are born again must be nourished by the Word itself.
